Superb nubuck finish with the serviceability of a semi-aniline leather
Velluto is one of our range winners. It has taken the normally fragile nubuck leather and re-engineered it in a durable semi-aniline format.
What is Nubuck leather?
Nubuck leather sometimes confused with suede is a top-grain leather that has been sanded or buffed on the grain side to produce a velvet-like finish. Nubuck leather is typically soft to the touch, scratches easily and water drops will darken it temporarily (it dries to its original colour).
Unlike normal nubuck leather Velluto has retained all the characteristics we love in nubuck whilst ensuring the protective properties of a typical semi-aniline leather.
Velvety soft to touch and to the eye, Velluto represents a breakthrough in leather technology, Velluto allows you to enjoy the look and feel of a nubuck with the serviceability of a semi-aniline leather.
The soft colour palette and unique brushed texture combine to create a unique leather choice that will continue to enhance and adapt to its environment as it is used.
