Marine curtain fabric, IMO certified
Marine curtain fabric is certified to Part 7 of the 2010 IMO Fire Test Procedures Code. Part 7 tests fabric hung vertically, the way a curtain hangs, against a small gas flame similar to a burning match. It records how long the fabric burns once the flame is removed, how far the damage runs, whether the flame burns through and whether burning debris falls.
A fabric that is flame retardant in the fibre is tested as supplied. A fabric treated with a flame retardant is tested as supplied and again after a set washing procedure. We supply curtain ranges certified to Part 7, and the certificate is held range by range.
