Which leather is the right leather for my project?

Are there right or wrong leathers?
All leathers in the Decor Design leather ranges are selected for suitability in commercial and residential environments. They each have their own looks, feel, nuance, structure, thickness and texture.
There is no right or wrong leather for any client only the leather that best meets their needs.
It is important to understand and investigate what needs, use, purpose, and expectations they have for the leather over the long term. If the client can address these questions and concerns honestly, then the simple answer is “whichever leather best matches the clients expectations for their furniture”.
Skilled leather designers understand customer leather needs and desires and match these to the right products.
An environment that demands a lot of maintenance needs a more robust leather or more acceptance as the leather evolves.
Range highlight: Lucida
Lucida is the aniline leather that outperforms them all!
Lucida (pronounced Loo-chi-da) is a heavyweight aniline leather, produced using a distinctive “hand tipped” grain effect.
This tipping is created by hand-polishing each hide of Lucida, adding to the warmth and depth of the colour and enhancing the hide’s natural features. Lucida stands along in the market, exhibiting a unique finish and a luxurious, opulent handle.
Unlike many aniline leathers Lucida has enhanced protection against soiling and spillage which is applied in the tanning drum. This allows the product to retain its breathability, whilst adding a level of surface resilience. As a result Lucida is a proven performer in heavy traffic areas like shopping centres, casinos, hotels and is therefore an outstanding choice for all residential and commercial applications.
