Upholstery just got an upgrade
We are very excited to announce our partnership with the amazing Designtex company. Designtex offer many things, the focus this month is on the incredible Designtex Celliant® Fabric technology. A fabric that improves circulation and cell oxygenation just by sitting on it.
So what is Designtex Celliant®?
Designtex Celliant® is a proprietary textile backing made from 13 safe, naturally occurring, thermo-reactive minerals. It is clinically proven to harness and recycle a person’s energy, providing a boost and improving wellbeing.
In short, it’s upholstery, energised; and provides improved circulation, better thermoregulation, and increased energy that’s naturally powered by the body.
How does it work?
The body naturally gives off about 100-watts every second. That’s the fuel that powers the upholstery.
Sit down, relax, and enjoy the benefits of Designtex Celliant®. Seriously, that’s it.
Any piece of furniture upholstered with Designtex Celliant® will literally “power” you up, and it’s ideal for a variety of applications — offices, waiting areas, reception areas, hotel guest rooms, the list goes on and is on limited by your project.
What do the scientists say?
The Designtex Celliant® upholstery absorbs the body’s energy and converts the wavelength to infrared, which is clinically proven to promote local circulation. It may be not be visible to the human eye, but thermal imaging catches it in action.
The recycled energy is then reflected back to the body and reabsorbed into the skin and tissue, and it starts to work within minutes, resulting in improved local circulation and cell oxygenation.
The harnessed infrared energy triggers vasodilation [the widening of capillaries). Put simply more oxygen is available to the cells. Improved circulation can increase energy, speed recovery, and improve the body’s ability to regulate its temperature.
Celliant® is used in popular products already on the market like athletic apparel, sleepwear and bedding.
Celliant® is designated as a Class 1 Medical Device in Australia and New Zealand
