Do you need to care for your leather?
Like all skin, leather requires regular maintenance to preserve the natural beauty, softness and suppleness of the product.
Maintenance depends upon many factors:
- Exposure to sunlight (fading issues, drying out)
- Exposure to heating/air-conditioning (both can dry out the leather)
- Frequency of use (the more leather is used, the more the fibers break down and the softer and more supple it becomes)
- Climate (different levels of humidity, heat & cold can impact the furniture)
- General cleanliness (exposure to dust, soiling - eg: kid’s shoes, exposure to food & drink, etc)
