Downtown

Downtown is a refined and precise pattern fabric defined by its smaller, more structured grid and subtle Scandinavian sensibility. It blends graphic discipline with understated elegance; adding texture, rhythm, and depth to interiors. Downtown is a multi-use fabric designed to bring clarity and cohesion to hospitality, commercial, and workplace spaces. Design and colours by Cenk Kivrikoglu and Gensler, serving as product design consultant.

VERSATILITY WITH AN EDGE

Downtown is crafted for adaptability across interiors, ideal for upholstery, screens, panels, and more. Its graphic structure and elegant colour expression make it a strong choice for commercial and hospitality environments where refined aesthetics meet practical performance.

DESIGNED IN COLLABORATION WITH GENSLER

Gabriel collaborated with Gensler, serving as Product Design Consultant, for Downtown. Gensler is one of the world’s leading architecture and design firms, and their involvement brings global insight and commercial relevance to the fabric. The collaboration ensured that Downtown meets real needs in contemporary interiors, while combining bold design with practical performance for hospitality, commercial, and workspace environments.

CONNECTED BY COLOUR, DEFINED BY PATTERN

While sharing the same colour palette as Uptown, Downtown’s smaller grid pattern highlights the hues with precision, creating a detailed and dynamic visual effect. This interplay between the two fabrics allows to explore contrasts and harmonies within a unified colour story. Downtown stands confidently on its own, but when paired with Uptown, together they form a powerful design duo.

CRISP GEOMETRY, NATURAL RHYTHM – SHARP LINES, SOFT TOUCH

Downtown interprets the urban grid with a smaller 65 mm scale, creating a crisp and clear pattern that echoes the detailed structure of city blocks. The design’s disciplined geometry is softened by organic influences like subtle mossy lines, delivering a tactile balance between architectural order and natural warmth. The result is a fabric that feels both structured and inviting, perfect for defining spaces with discrete sophistication.
